earliest day yet!

Day six is off to a wonderful slow start, slept in, woke up around 9:30 to my sister knocking on my door. Today i'm helping get ready for "The Gathering" (dinner and fellowship at my house) so i was sweeping off the back patio when i noticed the pattern in the table. i've always loved "rhythm" and "pattern" in my photos, in fact a piece that's still in my portfolio from college has very strong rhythm and pattern. anyway, i digress. i noticed the back table and the shadow it was casting, so very simply Friday, here is just ONE (GASP!) photo of the day. (there might be more after my roadtrip to Gainesville with Sarah...)

cinco

wow what a day! up before 5:30am and first time home after 8:30pm... i worked shipment today and then drove with Cassandra down to Orlando, met up with fellow bridesmaid Aurora, who we subjected to our favorite past time of trying on clothes OVER our clothes in the middle of the store... add in a trip to the WONDERIFICAL Betsey Johnson, and you've got a GREAT day!

day TWO

alright, so my newest goal (on my second day haha) is to actually post the photo of the day ON the day i take it, which might be challenging if i travel without my computer, so we'll see how it plays out! i'm including today's photo, PLUS a few older others i found hiding on my camera :) tonight i'm working on my designs for LYM '09, as evidenced by my photo...

Let the games begin!

So I've decided that there's no time like the present... I'm issuing a photo challenge to anyone who is game: in an attempt to be out shooting when you may not feel like it, or just to get those creative juices pumping, my goal is to take at least one photo a day, starting today, and posting it here. It doesn't have to be ground breaking or edited - this is a simple exercise to encourage me to pick up my camera on a daily basis, even if it's just my little panasonic point-and-shoot. I'm sure the photos will vary greatly in subject, which is kind of the point.

Ok, so here goes, a year through Lauren E.'s eyes...

(today is a bonus, you get two photos for the price of one, and just one was cropped, no color editing)
