last day of MARCH?!?!

where has the time gone?! this is crazy... keeps going and going, dang energizer bunny! it's never difficult to tell which days at work are "visual display" days, meaning i redress the mannequins. mainly because this is how I end up... all the stickers off the clothing go to the most convenient spot, which you can see for yourself!

dust bunnies!

tonight i "got" to change out the burnt/burned out lightbulbs after we closed. i forgot to take a picture of the ladder to show how high up it was, but you can kinda get an idea from one of my photos of the lightbulb i changed! kalen said "look at all the dust!" i responded "yeah, it's disgusting... ummm, i mean, it's 'dustgusting'!!!" yes, i know i'm corny... the first photo is of how gross our dust is, the boxes are the number of lightbulbs i changed...

relaxing Sunday

man, that 2.5 hr nap did wonders, although it makes me wonder if i'll actually be able to go to sleep tonight! i'm beginning to assemble my supplies for LYM (Love Your Mother - annual fashion show of recycled materials), and hopefully will begin construction in relatively short order! also, i couldn't resist the extreme reflection of my sunglasses today, and was particularly intrigued after the fact by the double reflection of my sunglasses and earrings towards the top of the photograph. hope you have all had a great weekend!

lovely Saturday

wow, i can't remember the last time i had a Saturday free to do whatever i wanted! i went to the beach for a few hours, and when the wind and sand blowing around got to be too much, i came home and enjoyed the back yard (sand free!) i noticed the flowers were in full bloom, so i've included those for your enjoyment, along with a picture of my recently spotted future boyfriend, complete with black socks and black sandals, which i pointed out for you...

tonight after work i headed over to the Davis' for a little R'n'R, which maybe should be changed to something like Food'n'Silliness... Gabby asked me to do her hair and "pretend" makeup, so she, in turn, got to do MY hair. i said it was stylists' choice, and this is how i ended up... good look for me, don't you think????

so Wednesday has come and gone, putting me THIS MUCH CLOSER!!!! to my Saturday of FREEEEEEEEEDOM! everything seems to be a blur these days (in case you hadn't noticed the continual theme in my photos), and today's sunset was the same...
over a month strong on my photo challenge, and yet it seems like just yesterday! hope you're enjoying the photos as much as i'm enjoying sharing them!

Late Tuesday night...

so i thought i'd give you a glimpse of what i look at when i stare beyond my computer in an effort to avoid whatever i'm working on :)

it is MONDAY!

well today has been a bit of a blur going by... work and gym have been the main features, well, the only features, really!

my manager left for a new job, and today was the first day he is officially gone. i arrived to see an apparently depressed snack machine, and also decided to show off a little of the stock room, a little place i like to call my second home. totally kidding... more like my third ;)

Sunday, Sundaaaaaay

my Sunday tends to start early, and today was no exception. played a few rounds of volleyball instead of nap (but now i'm tired enough that i should be able to go to sleep at a decent hour). had a meeting for Love Your Mother fashion show (here on out referred to as LYM), went to Barnes and Noble where i got inspired by graphic shapes... with minor tweaking of color for exposure purposes :)

weeeeeeeekend

i totally took a photo (2, in fact) yesterday, but i didn't get home until after midnight, so today is a two-fer! Friday was my new ring - it was going to be my new tires, but my car is in dire need to de-pollenation, so i decided to show off the all-seeing eye/aka the orb. and Saturday's photograph, well, Cassandra and i passed this sign on our way through Salt Springs and had to do a U-Turn to document...

i know, i know...

day late, dollar short. insane week! i am beginning to wonder how i keep my sanity most days :-p ok so today i needed a little R&R, and since i was working, i had to take whatever i could get, which meant Sonny's for lunch (at 3pm) and a little sunshine picnic outside of the outlet mall, which led to today's three photos of the day...

losing track

i don't know what day it is, and it's a little late in the day to keep up with numbers. but to throw a few OTHER numbers out there, i ran 1.5 miles tonight, and then swam a half a mile straight through, and by the end of my time in the pool, it was a mile. (phew, that was a long and really awful run-on sentence!) nonetheless, i was quite proud of myself, so now we'll see if i can move in the morning! being in the pool is second nature for me; i spent a lot of happy hours on swim team growing up, plus it's a great time to just chill and get lost in what you're doing and reflect on the day. (thanks to Suzanne for my ridiculously awesome purple cheetah swim cap!)

what a weekend!

Ok, so i have did not take a photo apart from my job yesterday (long story involved 2 flat tires - same tire flat twice, working at both my jobs), and since i don't have release forms i don't want to post any i took of the models, so i figure showing both versions of today's photo PLUS the other days i took multiple photos will have to suffice... :) thanks for following along!

Drove to Gainesville to camp out aka not drive to work so stinkin' early on Saturday! Good thing, too, because now there's apparently wildfires in the Ocala National Forest. My life seems to be lived on the road... today was deliciousness and my travel buddy who has been there through it all - any questions? you my not want to click on the pictures because i didn't have time to size them down as i don't have my laptop with me... also, as a side note, Saturday's photo might not be added until Sunday... i work in Ocala and then at the outlet until close, all in the same day! lucky me :-p

some days seem to run together, and today was the exception - today was more like 5 different days wrapped into one, so today's photo, though late in the day, seemed like a great visual for my life as of late :)

so today i worked the first part of the day, and i've been hanging out with the Davis' ever since. Matthew is at Karate, so i borrowed Allison's new D60 and shot a few pics of Gabby, Alex and the dinosaurs...

my sister is in town for a few nights, so we are just chilling out and watching movies, a much welcome respite after the business of the last week!

i smell smoke...

it's all in my hair, but it's worth the smoke smell for some s'mores, or at least marshmallows. thus ends another night with the Clair (and extended) family...

Coquina celebrates their 3rd anniversary, and Scott got dressed up for the occasion! oh, and the moon showed up a little early! oh, and while hanging out with the Canadians, there was a fireworks adventure... for the sake of posting today, i'll post the video asap...
